GCG’s Prof Richard Jardine Elected Fellow of the Royal Society

We are pleased to announce that our Associate, Professor Richard Jardine, has been elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society (FRS), one of the highest honours in the scientific community.

This prestigious recognition underscores Professor Jardine’s significant impact in the field of geotechnical engineering. He is the first geotechnical engineer to be elected to the Royal Society since 2016 and there are currently only 12 FRS Civil Engineers. GCG is extremely proud to have three of them amongst our ranks: our founding partners Dr David Hight and Professor Lord Robert Mair, and, now, our Associate Professor Richard Jardine.

Professor Jardine’s election is a testament to his dedication, expertise, and contribution to geotechnical engineering over several decades working in academia and industry.

Congratulations Richard on this remarkable achievement.
