GCG congratulates two of its most recent recruits (Eleonora Sailer and Riccardo Scarfone) for the successful defence of their PhD theses.
Eleonora’s PhD thesis is on “Numerical modelling of thermo-active retaining walls” at Imperial College London.
Riccardo’s PhD thesis is on “Modelling the hydraulic behaviour of unsaturated soils and application to the numerical and experimental study of capillary barrier systems” at the University of Glasgow, UK.
Eleonora and Riccardo have presented their research work at numerous conferences & published several articles in reputed journals, and currently have a number of articles under peer review.
