GCG provide support to Investment funds seeking to acquire new investment assets, by providing Technical Due Diligence assessments in relation to geotechnical issues / ground related hazards.

GCG have provided such services for numerous assets, including existing properties, ‘estate’ sites, which include existing structures and undeveloped plots, and for wholly new-build developments. Investment sites that GCG have advise on include a range of uses, including science parks, student accommodation, and tourist holiday resorts.

GCG advise on the risks associated with geotechnical issues at each site, and the likely cost and time implications of those issues, considering both the immediate costs that might apply at the time of acquisition, and also any potential geotechnical risks and associated costs over the lifetime of the asset, where applicable.
