In addition to offshore energy, our expertise in marine and offshore engineering covers a broad range of aspects from offshore piling and port expansions to the assessment of reclamation areas.
We work in a wide variety of different environments, including weather and seismic hazards, and are familiar with different standards and design codes used in different parts of the world.
We can model and analyse subsea slope stability problems, and our sophisticated modelling techniques enable us to model the formation of salt diapirs and their effect on slope stability.
We have considerable experience on the design of piles and retaining walls for harbours, berths and ports, and in several occasions our advice and the unique capabilities of our finite element analysis model have enabled the solution of challenging problems or the identification of design issues.
We can study short and long term performance of existing and new quay walls, and, in several occasions, our forensic work has contributed to the clarification of historically unresolved issues.
