The second edition of the UK Specification for Ground Investigation has been in use since 2012. A Working Group of the Association of Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Specialists (AGS), which includes GCG’s Dr Phil Smith, has completed a revision of this document, producing an updated and expanded draft third edition. This is now available for public comment.

The comment period is open until 30 July 2021, and anyone involved with site investigation is encouraged to review the document and provide any comments or views that could improve the document.
