Nova East substructure and core completed

Nova East project

GCG is proud to be providing geotechnical support (since 2012) for this technically challenging Nova Victoria project involving complex interfaces with sensitive existing infrastructure, supporting Robert Bird Group and Landsec.

The Nova East project involved the installation of the deepest piles (~79m) ever constructed in London using polymer support fluid, which were very close to the live railway tunnels.

We are pleased that the Nova East substructure and core have been completed with no record of any adverse effects on the existing London Underground tunnels or other sub-surface infrastructure.

Thanks to the project team for the excellent co-ordination and teamwork throughout the project!
