GCG is delighted to hear that Justyna Edgar, who has been part- funded by the Geotechnical Consulting Group and Concept Engineering Consultants Ltd to undertake a PhD project, is now Dr Edgar! Her successfully defended thesis was entitled: ‘Addressing infrastructure challenges posed by the Harwich Formation through understanding its geological origins’.
Justyna was trained under an Imperial College Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (ESPRC) Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) fund. CDT projects bring together experience from academia and industry, and GCG was able to provide experience and data from a wide range of major projects in the Harwich Formation.
