GCG at the 5th International Symposium on Frontiers in Offshore Geotechnics (ISFOG 2025)

Our Senior Partners Dr Felix Schroeder and Dr Angeliki Grammatikopoulou, together with our Senior Geotechnical Engineers Dr Amandine Brosse and Ms Serena Che will be representing GCG at ISFOG 2025 in Nantes next week. Our Associates, Prof Richard Jardine, Prof Lidija Zdravkovic, Prof Stavroula Kontoe and Dr David Taborda, will also be there.

We are looking forward to showcasing the breadth and depth of our involvement in the offshore wind industry with papers covering site characterisation, foundation design and foundation installation.

We are proud to have co-authored papers with colleagues from a range of client organisations (Iberdrola, Orsted, RWE and SSE) and academic partners at Imperial College London, University of Patras and University of Strathclyde.

In addition to the use of machine learning techniques for the optimisation of laboratory testing campaigns, our papers discuss numerical analysis, field testing and instrumentation, data-driven analysis and probabilistic methods in relation to straight-shafted piles, monopiles and suction buckets.

Felix, Angeliki, Amandine and Serena are looking forward to meeting and exchanging experiences and ideas with many existing and new colleagues from across the industry at ISFOG 2025. Feel free to get in touch with them to learn more about how GCG can support your projects.
