GCG congratulates its Associates, Prof Richard Jardine, Dr James Lawrence and Prof Stavroula Kontoe, and colleagues from ALPACA project, for being awarded the 2022 BGA Medal at the BGA Annual Conference 2023, for their paper titled ‘Advanced in situ and laboratory characterisation of the ALPACA chalk research site’.
The BGA Medal is awarded annually, to a best paper authored by a BGA member(s) for “meritorious contributions to geotechnical science or practice”, published in an international journal or from BGA, ISSMGE and ISRM conferences, and submitted for consideration of the award.
GCG is pleased to have significantly contributed to ALPACA project together with others.
GCG was also a sponsor of the BGA Annual Conference 2023.
