Dr Jackie Skipper is giving a Keynote Lecture at the ‘GE Geotechnical Asset Resilience 2020′ on Wednesday 9th December

GCG’s Senior Consultant Dr Jackie Skipper will be presenting a Keynote Lecture at the ‘Ground Engineering Basements and Underground Structures and Geotechnical Asset Resilience’ Online Conference, on Wednesday 9th December 2020 (https://assetresilience.geplus.co.uk/programme).

The subject is ‘Sharing lessons from a decade of development at Nine Elms’ and will be looking specifically at how Drift Filled Hollows (DFHs) have affected the ground in the Nine Elms area, how they affect engineering ground risk, and how this can be managed.

The talk will be from 13:00 – 13:20 UK time. This will be followed by Andrew Lunt, lead sponsor, TfL, talking about the Silvertown Tunnel and a joint Q&A session.
