We are extremely proud to announce that our Associate Director Dr Michael Wan has become a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers (FICE).
FICE is the highest grade of membership at the ICE for civil engineers who have made outstanding contributions to the profession. Michael has become an acknowledged expert in geotechnical instrumentation and monitoring through his seminal field research work at Imperial College and Crossrail and subsequent consulting work at GCG and High Speed 2.
His publications have been widely cited by the research community and the industry, and won prestigious awards including the ICE Telford Gold Medals twice in 2018 and 2020 and the BGA Medal in 2019.
