GCG at the 9th SUT International OSIG Conference 2023

GCG will be attending Society for Underwater Technology’s International OSIG 2023 Conference at Imperial College London next week from 12-14 September 2023 [www.osig2023.com].

Our Senior Partner Dr. Felix Schroeder will be chairing Session 5: “Mechanical Protection of Seabed Infrastructure I” on the first day (12/9), and is a co-author of keynote lecture 9: “Full Scale Pile Load Testing for an Offshore Wind Farm”.

Meanwhile, our Senior Geotechnical Engineer Dr. Riccardo Scarfone will be presenting a paper on “Divergence between CPT based method predictions for the axial capacities of large offshore piles driven in sand” in Session 10: “Pile Design” on Day 2 (13/9).

There are also various contributions by our Associates, including Prof. Richard Jardine’s 6th ISSMGE McClelland Lecture on “Time-dependent Vertical Bearing Behaviour of Shallow Foundations and Driven Piles” and Prof. Lidija Zdravkovic’s keynote lecture 7 on “Challenges in The Numerical Modelling of Floating Offshore Wind Foundations”.

Looking forward to meeting you there!
