An article published in QJEGH on ‘Buried (drift-filled) hollows in London – a review of their location and key characteristics’

GCG’s Jackie Skipper and John Davis (together with A. L. Flynn, P. E. F. Collins, T. Pickard, N. Koor, and P. Reading) have co-authored a paper on ‘Buried (drift-filled) hollows in London – a review of their location and key characteristics’ in QJEGH.

It is an OPEN ACCESS article. Download your FREE copy from the link below: https://qjegh.lyellcollection.org/content/qjegh/early/2020/12/08/qjegh2019-145.full.pdf.

It compiles new and existing information relating to features frequently referred to as drift-filled hollows. The key aim of the paper is to update the article written by Berry (1979) in QJEGH (https://qjegh.lyellcollection.org/content/12/1/9), producing a resource for both engineering projects and academic research. Fifty-four additional drift-filled hollows have been identified and their physical characteristics are tabulated where available information allows.
